LOVE-SICK: A BNHA Fanzine
Love-Sick is a NSFW fanzine dedicated to the student-teacher ship dynamics of Boku No Hero Academia. Inside you’ll discover what happens when responsibility gives way to recklessness, when the heat of passion incinerates all traces of duty and restraint: for better and for worse.
About This Zine
This self-published zine is a throwback, an homage to what's possible when we create simply to celebrate the content we love. Risograph and inkjet prints and basic binding allow for creative content to shine in authentic, old-school form.
Fic-centric, this zine weaves an evocative trip through the trials and passions of forbidden love. From the highest highs to the lowest lows, Love-Sick captures everything from the crushing weight of tangled paths crossed forever, to the pure and raw elation forged in flames of perseverance and trust.
The physical zine will be a self-published 8.5" x 11" saddle-stitched booklet with a risograph cover and risograph or inkjet illustrations. It will contain a foreword ficlet penned by the zine’s creator, along with a minimum of three fics approximately 2,000 to 4,000 words in length.

All fics will be accompanied by an illustration, printed in risograph or inkjet depending on the artist’s style and preference. Poems will feature detailed page borders customized to accentuate the author’s written artistry.
Contributors
Contributors will be chosen with emphasis first and foremost on the ships they prefer to create for. As a fic-centric zine, writer applications will be completed before artist applications open in order to determine the ships that will ultimately be featured in the zine. Once the authors have been chosen and the ships have been finalized, artist applications will open to allow artists to apply with the specific ship(s) they’d like to create for in mind.
Three fics will be included at a minimum, with the final number of showcased fics and artwork depending on the number and nature of applications received. One of the goals of this zine is to represent a diverse spectrum of ships, so while no two fics will contain the same ship, pairings may include characters already featured in another work.

Q: What ships will be included?
A: Two ships are guaranteed to be featured: Shinsou x Aizawa and Deku x All Might. Remaining ships will be chosen for inclusion based on creator preference. All student-teacher and mentor-mentee relationships found in the BNHA verse are eligible for inclusion.
Q: Is this a for-profit zine?
A: Yes. All profits will be split among the contributors.
Q: Can I apply to or purchase this zine if I’m under 18?
A: No.
Q: Is there an age restriction on characters to be featured in the zine?
A: Yes. All characters depicted will be 18 years of age or older.
Q: When will applications open?
A: Writer applications will be open from October 1 to 31. Artist applications will be open from November 15 to December 15. (Why are we doing applications this way?).
